National Partnerships
We partner with some of the nation's top not-for-profit organizations that are making a difference in communities from coast to coast. In fact, three of our partners are recognized by Forces for Good, a study of the six common traits of leading, high-impact not-for-profit organizations.

Feeding America (formerly named America's Second Harvest)
For more than a decade, ConAgra Foods has partnered with Feeding America®, which is recognized as the largest charitable domestic hunger-relief organization in the United States.
The Feeding America network of more than 200 food banks across the nation distributes food and grocery products to approximately 63,000 local charitable hunger-relief agencies. This includes food pantries, soup kitchens, women's shelters, Kids Cafes, Community Kitchens, and other organizations that provide emergency food assistance to more than 25 million hungry Americans, 9 million of whom are children.
Since 1993, ConAgra Foods and the ConAgra Foods Feeding Children Better Foundation has dedicated both food and funds to Feeding America to the tune of more than 166 million pounds of food and more than $25 million dollars toward alleviating child hunger.
The partnership has allowed Feeding America and its network to serve millions of Americans in need nationwide. Feeding America recognizes ConAgra Foods as a leader and founding partner for the company's visionary efforts.
Accordingly, ConAgra Foods is...
-
The first to fund national efforts around the Kids Cafe program, providing start-up funds and reinforcement grants to more than 250 sites across the nation
-
The first to create a national program of vehicle grants to member food banks so it's easier to get the food to those who need it
-
The first to direct funding toward the Simplified Summer Food Service Program to enable network members to get better access to federal support funding and expand the program nationwide across the network
-
The first to comprehensively fund child hunger programs nationwide
-
The first to fund child hunger research, specifically state-by-state child hunger statistics
-
Leading the way to build Feeding America's technology infrastructure to build capacity of the network to serve more people
Under the Nourish Today, Flourish Tomorrow umbrella, the ConAgra Foods Foundation continues to partner with Feeding America to reach hundreds of thousands more each year through grants that support building the capacity of the network, to offer direct service to those in need, and to drive advocacy and awareness of child hunger.

Share Our Strength's Operation Frontline®
We know it takes more than food to fight hunger. It's also about providing the appropriate nutrition education to build skills that will last a lifetime. The ConAgra Foods Foundation recently became the national sponsor of Share Our Strength's Operation Frontline, a groundbreaking chef-led nutrition education program that teaches low-income families how to prepare nutritious and tasty foods on a limited budget.
Thanks to a partnership with the ConAgra Foods Foundation, Operation Frontline's capacity will nearly double over the next two years and enhance program infrastructure, serve more families effectively, and provide enhanced support to local community partners. You can read more about this new partnership in our News section.
Operation Frontline is under the umbrella organization of Share Our Strength®, a national organization devoted to making sure no kid in America grows up hungry. Share Our Strength weaves together a net of community groups, activists, and food programs to help children at risk of hunger and to give them nutritious food where they live, learn, and play.

National Council of La Raza (NCLR)
NCLR is the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States focused on improving opportunities for Hispanic Americans.
Through Nourish Today, Flourish Tomorrow, the ConAgra Foods Foundation is working with NCLR to increase the capacity of their Affiliates to provide up-to-date nutrition information and opportunities to engage families on dietary concerns. This program will be launched through NCLR's Promotores de Salud program, a community-based health initiative focused on increasing Latinos' awareness of the risk factors for heart disease. In addition, foundation funding will help support NCLR's advocacy efforts to enroll more Latinos in federal food assistance programs and build the capacity of field advocates to engage in the national conversation around hunger.
